The conventional RT is mainly utilized to inspect materials for hidden flaws. X-ray and gamma ray are used to detect internal defects, in measuring wall thickness, and corrosion detection.

The inspectors of Island CERTS Corp are well versed and experienced in this type of testing. The inspectors are ANSI/ASNT/SNT-TC-1A Level II certified technicians. A Radiation Safety Office (RSO) will also be present to monitor classified and non-classified workers during the entire exposure compliant to Island CERTS Corp Safety Policy and RT Procedures, and in conformance with ASME-V Article-2.
